Just part of the audience for the launch of Crowlogue, July 6, 2010 at Darwin's Cafe, Tofino.
Wow, what an evening we had. The launch of Crowlogue on July 6, 2010 was more than we ever hoped for. Over 70 people packed into Darwin's Cafe at the Tofino Botanical Gardens. (After 70, we stopped counting.) Seven writers read for us — most with work from the book, but there were a few other surprises, too. Thanks to everyone who came and especially to those who dressed up! There was lots of black, even a few feathers, and much crow-inspired clothing. (It did look a bit like a funeral though, as greg blanchette pointed out.)
The mood was far from funereal though. We had a great time and hope you did too. If you missed it, you might want to take a look here.
